Podcast network
Do you need a separate subscription for each podcast?
Compare multi-podcast plans with an example of three shows and their combined audio volume.
Count the shows, then add up the volumes
A podcast generally corresponds to a separate RSS feed. Three shows do not necessarily mean three subscriptions. However, upload hours and downloads may be shared at account level. Add those volumes together before comparing plans.
An example of a small network
Imagine three shows, each with four 45-minute episodes a month. The network produces nine hours of audio a month. Enter three podcasts and nine hours, then the total audience. You will see why multiplying the price of an individual plan does not always give the right budget.
Plans do not all limit the same thing
Buzzsprout distinguishes the number of shows and audio volume. Transistor and Captivate offer several shows on one account and use download tiers. Other limits, particularly private feeds, still need to be checked. A cheaper result does not imply identical features.
Check the move to the next tier
A network can grow without changing the number of shows. Compare your current volume, then a scenario with twice as many downloads. This simulation is not a growth forecast: it simply shows the cost of a different level of usage at current prices.
